2026 Haircut Trends for Women
Dark Chestnut Curtain Bang Layers

So this is a really cool chestnut brown and the curtain bangs just make it. Layers start around the cheekbones and go all the way down to the length. It is wispy and light and not at all heavy looking. I think straight or slightly wavy hair looks best with this cut. Honestly it is one of those styles that works for just about anyone. Really flattering around the face.
Strawberry Blonde Wavy Fringe Lob

I think about this cut constantly and I am not exaggerating. Warm strawberry-to-golden blonde with straight-across fringe bangs that sit just above the brows. The fringe is full but not heavy and it has this slightly undone quality that keeps it casual. Wavy texture through the length adds so much movement. Medium density hair with a little natural wave is going to love this one. So so cute.
Espresso Brown Layered Lob with Bangs

This one is really elegant and easy at the same time. Rich espresso brown with wispy side-swept bangs that blend into the face-framing layers. The whole thing has a really seamless natural look to it. It is polished on day one and somehow looks even better as it grows out. Darker hair types who want something a little more styled without a lot of effort will love this cut. A really solid everyday look.
Golden Blonde Wavy Lob

This one is so pretty and easy to wear. The color is a sandy golden blonde with a darker root and it looks so natural. Loose soft waves hit right at the collarbone on this one. I love it because it looks like you did not try too hard. Medium and thick hair is really going to shine with this style. It grows out really nicely too which is always a bonus.
Burgundy Shag with Fringe

I am completely obsessed with this one. The color goes from deep burgundy into auburn and it is so rich looking. Choppy layers at the chin give it all this texture and movement. That blunt fringe landing just above the brows is perfection. Finer hair that needs volume is going to love this cut. It is edgy but still really wearable.
Sandy Blonde Butterfly Cut

The butterfly cut is still really popular right now and I totally get why. Face-framing layers flutter around the cheekbones and jaw on this one. Lighter pieces around the face make everything look really bright. The underlength stays full which I love because it balances the shorter top layers out. Oval and heart-shaped faces look incredible with this cut. Sandy blonde is such a good color choice for it too.
Mocha Brown Retro Waves with Bangs

This one is giving me all the 70s vibes and I am so into it. The color is a cool dark mocha brown and it is so rich looking. Short wispy curtain bangs sit right in the center and frame the face perfectly. Big sweeping waves make the whole thing look really polished and editorial. I think thicker darker hair that can hold a curl set is ideal for this. Seriously stunning.
Pearl Blonde Sleek Blunt Bob

Simple can be so powerful and this look is proof. Pearl blonde at chin length with a center part and not a single layer in sight. The finish is totally smooth and glass-like and it just looks so intentional. Fine to medium straight hair is going to look incredible with this cut. It photographs so well too. One of my favorites in the whole list honestly.
Espresso Bob with Side Fringe

Near-black espresso brown is always a good idea. The side fringe sweeps across one eye and it adds this cool little asymmetry to the look. Everything else about the cut is simple and straight which makes that fringe really stand out. Dark hair that is naturally straight is perfect for this. It is understated and gorgeous at the same time. I could stare at this cut all day.
Champagne Blonde Straight Layers

Long sleek and luminous is the best way to describe this one. Champagne blonde with subtle highlights and graduated soft layers that fall below the shoulder. Everything about it looks really healthy and shiny. The layers give movement without any bulk which I think is so important in longer cuts. This color works on so many different skin tones too. An elegant timeless choice.
Balayage Tousled Bob

This is probably the most wearable look in the whole post. Dark roots melt into sandy blonde and the color is so natural looking. Loose undone waves give it that just-got-back-from-the-beach feel. I love that this color basically grows out on its own without needing constant appointments. Medium to thick hair is going to have the best time with this style. Really easy and really cute.
Jet Black Sleek Lob

Another sleek jet black lob and another total winner. Center parted with soft long layers and a really smooth polished finish at the collarbone. The layers add just enough movement to keep it from looking flat. Naturally dark straight hair looks so luxurious with this kind of cut. It is clean and classic and works in every situation. Really hard to go wrong here.
Ash Blonde Sleek Long Layers

This is really beautiful and classic. Dark ash roots melting into creamy blonde ends on long straight layers with a super smooth finish. The color is cool-toned and subtle with lighter pieces through the mid-lengths and ends. It looks sun-kissed and natural and really healthy. This cut and color combination works on almost every face shape and skin tone I can think of. Such a good option for long hair lovers.
Near-Black Feathered Layers

This is giving 70s goddess and I love it. Near-black hair with curtain bangs and long feathered layers that flip away from the face. The layers are cut to add movement and reduce bulk without losing any length. Curtain bangs covering just the outer part of the forehead is such a flattering combination with this kind of layering. Dark thick hair is going to look amazing with this one. A really classic choice.
Icy Platinum A-Line Bob

Clean lines and icy platinum is such a good combination. The back is short and stacked and the front angles down toward the jaw. Everything about this cut is sharp and precise. It looks like a lot of work but once it is cut right it basically styles itself. Straight fine to medium hair is really the best match for this one. So so chic.
Midnight Black Sleek Bob

Sharp and sleek and totally stunning. Midnight black in an A-line bob shape with a high-gloss finish that looks almost mirror-like. The front panels angle forward toward the jaw and the precision of that line is what makes the whole thing so impactful. Straight or fine hair is going to get the most out of this cut. It is bold but not complicated. If you want maximum impact with minimal styling this is the one.
Flame Red Textured Pixie

Okay this red is unreal. Deep flame copper with close-cropped sides and a volumey swept-back top. The color is so saturated and bold and it works against so many different skin tones. Short sides keep the maintenance low but the top has enough length to play with shape. It is confident and fun and not for the faint of heart. I love it so much.
Jet Black Glass Lob

The color really does all the work here. Jet black at collarbone length with a center part and a mirror-like finish. Blunt ends make the hair look so thick and full. It is on naturally dark straight hair that this really shines. Nothing fussy about this one at all. Just pure sleek beautiful hair.
Warm Honey Balayage Layers

This is the kind of haircut that gets you compliments even on a bad hair day. Warm honey and dark blonde pieces run through long face-framing layers. The layers start at the cheekbones and blend down into the length naturally. It looks fresh and effortless no matter the season. I see this color and cut combination all the time in my salon right now. Really popular for a reason.
Golden Honey Voluminous Layers

Talk about a glamorous blowout. Warm golden honey with caramel pieces and long layers styled into a big full finish with flipped ends. The color has so much dimension when the light hits it. It is a really classic polished look but done in a way that feels very current. If you love hair with a lot of body and movement this is your cut. Stunning from every angle.
Silver Pearl Wavy Bob

This might be my favorite short look in the whole post. Silver-pearl color with a hint of warmth and a short A-line shape underneath. Soft waves add volume and make it look really full and pretty. If you are going grey naturally and want to lean into it, this is how you do it. It looks intentional and modern and really chic. I love everything about it.
Deep Wine Layered Blowout

This color shifts between dark plum and warm auburn depending on the light and it is gorgeous. Long layers are styled into a polished below-the-shoulder blowout. There is real movement in this cut without it ever looking overdone. It reads as a natural hair color which I love because it feels really wearable. A great option if you want a change without going too dramatic. Really beautiful.
Pastel Lavender Wavy Bob

Lavender hair will never not be a moment as far as I am concerned. This one is a soft lilac wavy lob with a blunt fringe and it is really dreamy looking. The tone is subtle and cool rather than bright or neon. Beachy waves keep it feeling relaxed and not too precious. If you have wanted to try a fashion color, this soft lavender version is the one I would start with. Show this picture to your colorist.
Brunette Shag with Blonde Face Frame

This is so current and so flattering. Medium brown base with chunky bright blonde pieces around the face. The side-swept fringe blends right into the face frame which I think is really clever. Layers and shaggy texture add tons of movement at the collarbone. It has a retro cool-girl feel but updated for right now. Great for someone who wants contrast without going all over blonde.
Honey Blonde Curly Bob

So much personality in this one cut. Warm honey and caramel blonde on a stacked bob with big bouncy curls at chin length. The curls are large and voluminous rather than tight and they give the whole shape this beautiful roundness. All that multi-tonal blonde color makes each individual curl really pop. Naturally wavy or heat-styled hair is going to have such a good time with this. Love love love it.
Copper Pixie with Fringe

This is main character hair, full stop. Bright burnt copper with close-cropped sides and a side-swept fringe that curves over one side of the forehead. The color is so vivid and saturated and it pops against basically every skin tone. Short on the sides means barely any upkeep. The fringe adds this playful and cute touch to the whole thing. Really a special haircut.
Warm Brown Wolf Cut Shag

The wolf cut is not going anywhere and this warm brown version shows exactly why. Wispy curtain bangs and flicky layers that curl slightly at the ends. It is that mullet-adjacent shape but in a way that is not too extreme at all. The layers keep it feeling current and a little undone. Hair with a bit of natural texture is really going to work well here. A really accessible take on the trend.
Platinum Blonde Choppy Shag Bob

Casual cool and effortlessly stylish. This pale icy blonde shag bob has choppy layers throughout and a soft wispy fringe. The fringe is light enough that it frames the face without being too much. It sits at chin length with a really lived-in undone finish. A little texturizing spray at home and you are done. Low-maintenance blondes, this one is for you.
Deep Plum Wolf Cut

Okay this is one of the most dramatic looks in the post and I am completely here for it. Deep plum-burgundy with a full rounded fringe and long wavy layers. The short crown layers contrast with the long wavy underlength and it creates the most amazing shape. Color this pigmented looks so incredible with the wolf cut silhouette. Thicker hair that can handle those long layers is going to be best for this. So bold and so beautiful.
Silver Ombre Choppy Bob

Dark roots to silver-white ends on a choppy wavy bob is such an editorial combination. The dark root keeps it grounded while the lighter ends catch all the light. Choppy waves throughout make the whole thing look textured and alive. I think this is a really smart way to go silver without fully committing to an all-over light color. It looks really intentional and cool. One of my favorite color stories in this whole post.
Dark Root Rose Gold Waves

This color story is so beautiful. Jet black roots melt all the way down into a soft dusty rose-gold through long voluminous waves below the shoulder. The contrast is striking but not harsh at all because the transition is so gradual. Big sweeping curls add so much drama to the whole look. If you have dark hair and want to try a fashion color, a root smudge like this is the most flattering way to do it. Gorgeous.
Sandy Balayage Wavy Lob

Casual and fresh and really easy to wear every day. Dark roots into sandy blonde with loose wavy texture at shoulder length. The waves are a little undone which makes the whole look feel really effortless. It is the perfect style if you are growing out a darker color and want to transition to blonde gradually. Not a lot of upkeep needed here at all. Really a great everyday haircut.
Caramel Brown Straight Layers

This is runway polish on long hair and I am obsessed with it. Warm caramel to light chestnut brown with long sleek graduated layers that fall in a clean rounded shape at the ends. The layers are smooth rather than choppy so the whole thing looks really refined. Healthy shiny hair is what this cut is all about. If you love long hair and want it to look its absolute best, this is it. Really stunning.
Dark Espresso Blunt Lob

Sometimes simple is just better. Deep espresso brown at the shoulder with a center part, no layers, no fringe, just a clean precise blunt line. The weight of that blunt cut makes the hair look incredibly thick. Naturally straight hair on darker complexions really thrives with this kind of style. There is nothing to figure out with this cut, it just works. Timeless and easy to maintain.
Copper Curly Bob

This curly bob is everything and I mean that. Warm copper and strawberry blonde ringlets at chin length with so much volume and definition. The color has this beautiful mix of deeper copper and lighter golden pieces that give each curl its own dimension. It is a real celebration of natural texture and I love seeing curly hair highlighted like this. Type 2c or type 3 curls are going to look absolutely incredible here. One of my all-time favorites in this list.
Pearl White A-Line Bob

Saving one of the best for last. Pearl-white blonde in a precise A-line bob with a side part and a perfectly smooth finish. The color is almost white with just the softest pink-toned undertone to it. Front panels are longer than the back and the geometry of the whole shape is so intentional and clean. This one photographs beautifully and is a real statement cut. Straight to slightly wavy fine or medium hair is going to love it. If you are ready for a big change, this is absolutely the one to go for.
